O305 #1526 in Claremont WA, as Horizons West #38

1526 was one of the last Mercedes O305’s to operate in passenger service, in Australia. After retirement from service in Adelaide, 1526 was bought by Horizons West in Perth WA, to operate as a school bus. Having lasted all this time, still passing inspections and roadworthies, it got brought back to Adelaide by road in March for preservation.
1526 has now featured in tours such as our 40th Anniversary of the Mercedes O305 buses.
